Summer is here and it’s time for a black bikini post to take a break from the heat.

Black Bikini

It has been so hot these past couple of weeks, I’m talking almost a hundred degrees every day kind of hot.  So this weekend when I had a little time to relax I slipped on a little black bikini , and got ready to take full advantage of the pool in my apartment building.

I love bringing a towel, a book and a glass of wine down to the pool to read before I jump in to cool off.  Right now I’m readingAgatha Christie’s book: And Then There Were None.  It’s very interesting.  Kind of reminds me of Clue so far – which I loved growing up!

Once I’d read a bit, it was definitely time for a dip in the pool!  It was definitely calling my name.

I firmly believe that there are two types of people in the world; the kind that just jump headfirst into the pool, and the kind that needs to test it with their toes first.  I’ll give you one guess as to which kind I am…  ?

The water felt so cool, and it was great to have a little ‘me’ time to relax after a super busy week.

Once I was in the pool until my fingers and toes turned pruney, I hopped out and sat on the steps enjoying the sunset.

With my book and glass of wine in hand, I was all set!

I am so grateful to have gotten a little ‘me’ time over the weekend.  I think that the only way to keep sane with a busy week is to find some time to relax a little bit.  

Everyone relaxes in a different way, but I think pool + black bikini + wine is definitely a winner in my book!  Especially when it’s so hot out!  I hope you are all staying cool and finding some time for yourselves in the hustle and bustle of a busy week.

  26. That’s very nice that you have a swimming pool :))) In my spare time I like to walk with my 3 doggies in the evening time – fresh air makes me feel so relaxed, I even prefer to walk in a cool day :)))
