Best Carved Pumpkins – Time To Share some Pumpkin Carving Talent
Pumpkin carving for Halloween is one of the really special times of fall. These creative and artistic projects are some of the best carved pumpkins that I have seen in quite a while.
I love fall, because it’s a great time for artists of all kinds to share their talents by carving pumpkins. Some of the ones I’ve seen this year are absolutely stunning!
Pumpkin carving is something that all people can do, from a basic Jack O Lantern to some of the elaborate styles shown here.
I have no idea how they can make art so beautifully on a pumpkin! I feel like whenever I try to carve a pumpkin, I end up looking like this polar bear.

Don’t get me wrong, this bear is so cute, but he just doesn’t know how to carve a pumpkin. And my polar bear friend, I understand. It’s so hard! However, some people just have a knack for it!
Best Carved Pumpkins
Grab a cup of coffee and sit back and enjoy these fun Halloween pumpkin carving creations. The first four pumpkins are ones that I found on Design Tricks. They have dozens more as well!
Like this amazing cat pumpkin! It looks so intricate. I remember the last time I carved a pumpkin that if I made it too detailed, there was a large risk that the pumpkin would break.
This one is SO intricate though. The person who carved it has obviously had a lot of practice!
And if you are more of a dog person than a cat person, don’t worry, there are some amazing dog pumpkins out there too!
I can tell you honestly that when I saw the one on the right, I actually gasped. These dog pumpkins are so fabulous! Both of these animal and pumpkin carvings are courtesy of image courtesy of designtricks.net.
Here’s some more traditional (and still amazing) pumpkins for the ghost and ghoul lovers out there!
I love IPAs, and Sweet Water 420 happens to be one of my favorites. I guess someone else felt the same way! This pumpkin design from Extreme Pumpkins is amazing!

I saved the best for last! This pumpkin caving from Deviant Art is not only detailed and amazing, but it is also extremely festive! The movie The Nightmare Before Christmas is always a Halloween tradition for my family to watch!
This pumpkin is a beautiful representation of that movie! Here is the part that will blow your mind…the caption of the picture of this beautiful work of art was “My first Halloween Pumpkin”.
Your FIRST pumpkin?!?! I can’t wait to see what this person can do once they’ve had practice, because this one looked like an EXPERT pumpkin!
If you like to eat pumpkins as much as you like to look at the beautifully carved ones, check out this recipe for pumpkin soup!
