Clothespins are a handy tool that many people have in their laundry rooms, but it’s rare to see clothing hanging on lines in people’s back yards these days. Clothes dryers seem to have made that practice something from a by gone day.
Fortunately for us, the sale of clothespins isn’t slowing down, since the possibilities for using them in activities are endless. From a clothespin flower pot to bugs and animals or planes and garden markers, these clothespin crafts will be sure to keep your child busy for hours.
You can buy inexpensive clothespins in bulk from craft stores or online, and stash them away to use in clothespin crafts on the next rainy day. When the weather isn’t cooperating and the kids are asking for something fun to do, dig them out and try one of these clothespin crafts for kids.
Some of these cute clothespin crafts can be made with very little supervision and others need an adult to have more of a hand in the project. All are guaranteed to make a rainy day the last thing on anyone’s mind this crafty morning.
