If We Were On A Coffee Date – New Series

Sometimes I wish instead of writing blog posts, I could talk to you in person for a new series I am starting. So today I’m going to pretend we are on a coffee date, talking face to face!

If we were on a coffee date

Hi everyone! I want to start doing a new style of posts to let you get to know me a little better. I love blogging, and reading blogs. To be honest, I probably spend too much time reading blogs!

One thing it’s taught me is that I love reading the blogs more when I feel like I know the bloggers writing them.

If we were on a Coffee Date

I want to get to know all of you a little better, so I’ve borrowed the idea for a virtual-coffee-date-style post from one of the bloggers I really look up to – Christine (if you want to see her first if we were on a coffee date post click here)!

I’d tell you that this time of year is my absolute favorite!

I just love the Christmas season for so many reasons.  I love that everyone is so focused on celebrating.  I think every day should be celebrated, and that really seems to ring true this time of year more than any!

I love driving around and seeing houses all dressed up in Christmas lights, and walking through the streets seeing mothers and fathers hurrying to Christmas parties with their little ones.

I’d tell you that this last month has made me more grateful for family than ever.

My family suffered a huge loss with the death of my Grammy, and even though we all feel sadness from it, I feel such gratitude for how she shaped our family.  We are all so very close, and losing her has reminded me exactly how precious time is!

I don’t want to let any moment pass me by, and I don’t want to waste any time I have with family or friends.

I’d tell you I just can’t wait to start cooking holiday recipes and putting them on the blog.

I was so busy over Thanksgiving that I didn’t get to write as much as I wanted, so that mean’s I’ll just have to make up for it with lots of yummy Christmas treats!!

I’d tell you that I just recently re-watched my FAVORITE show on Netflix.  And I woul urge you to watch it too!  I am obsessed with the show called Sherlock.

The acting is amazing, the writing keeps you hooked and the cinematography creates a wonderful world that you’re just dying to visit!

I’d tell you that I’m secretly (read: not so secretly) in love with puppies.

I have been considering volunteering at either a rescue or a shelter.  I am going to start looking into the process soon, and when I have some news I’ll let you know!

I would just love to help out sweet little pups that need some extra love and care.

I’d tell you that I’ve been holding back… I’ve actually been drinking tea this whole time!

I recently tried some delicious tea from Wild Tea and since it’s sort of late at night while I’m writing this post I thought I’d try the tea instead!  I got Coconut Chai and Hibiscus Mint as well as Curr Berr tea.

Right now I’m drinking the Hibiscus mint and it’s lovely!

What would you tell me about yourself if we were on a coffee date?  I’d love to get to know you a little better!
