Fall Trend Alert: Wood Watches
Location: North Hollywood, CA
Outfit Details: Jord Wood Watch, Steve Madden Wedges, Strapless Black Jumpsuit, Next Blazer , Necklace , Large Ring, Small Forever XXI Ring.
Fall is one of my favorite seasons. When I moved to LA, I knew that fall wouldn’t be as chilly as I was used to, but it’s been so nice now that the temperature has started to drop. I love when the cool weather rolls in and everyone starts breaking out the blazers, scarfs, and whatever new fall trend is current for that year.
I’m loving the new fall trend that has been popping up this year: wood watches!
I am in love with watches normally, but this new wood watch takes my obsession to a whole other level! I was recently approached by Jord Wood Watches and have partnered with them to bring a blog post that contains what may very well be my new favorite watch!
I have the Zebrawood and Champagne watch from the Frankie series, and love it! But it was honestly so hard to pick one – all of their watches are gorgeous!
When I got the package on my doorstep, I eagerly unboxed it like a kid on Christmas morning! My boyfriend was over at my apartment when I did, and we both couldn’t stop talking about how pretty and lightweight it was (honestly, sometimes I forget I’m even wearing it because it’s so comfortable and light).
Plus, with Jord watches you can have the watch customized to fit the measurements of your wrist, which is SO cool! I think my boyfriend was a little jealous that I had such a nice watch box to unwrap. BUT fortunately for him, Jord makes both men’s watches and women’s watches!
New watch in hand (er… on hand?), we raced out the front door to snap some photos for the blog. When we dashed out the door I was wearing my roommates jumpsuit, my go-to wedges, a blazer that makes me feel great and my new wood watch.
When we started snapping these photos I felt so great. Sometimes you just need an outfit that makes you feel on top of the world, and this one is definitely it!
As we took the photos, we followed our normal routine. First we picked a location – we had walked by this wooden wall and thought that there would be no better place to take photos of wood watches!
Then I struck my best model poses and we took some photos. Afterwords we walked around, enjoying the crisp fall air and stopping into a little ramen place for lunch.
A few days later, I started to edit the photos. With Thanksgiving approaching in a few weeks (from when I edited the photos) I began to reflect on all of the things I was thankful for.
I think it’s especially important to be thankful at all times of the year, and not just around the holiday season, but it’s nice to have a little reminder come around every November.
I am thankful for SO many things this year. I am grateful for my friends, my boyfriend and beyond grateful for my family. There is never enough time to spend with our loved ones, and this year has really opened my eyes to that.
It’s so important to treasure the relationships we have, and to let the people in our lives know every day how important they are!
I’m so grateful for all of the in-person relationships I have, but also for my virtual relationships. The blog would not be where it is without you, my reader’s continued attention and support! So thank you, for reading – whether it’s every post, a post every now and then, or even if this is your first post.
It means so much to me to have you here. I’m also grateful for my wonderful sponsors like Jord, who help inspire me to create exciting content, and keep the blog going.
I’d like to thank Jord for their sponsoring this post and also for their patience and support. They really are a great brand and I just know you’ll love any watch you buy from their site!
Thank you for reading – and I hope you’re having a great holiday season!
